About Alexander Stroud
"Alexander Stroud, age fifteen, has been studying classical guitar for eleven years, the last seven of those at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He took first place in the Sierra Nevada Guitar Competition youth division in July, and in February won the Menuhin-Dowling Competition. Alexander has performed in master classes with renowned classical guitarists such as Johannes Moller, Marc Teicholz, William Kanengiser, David Tanenbaum, Sergio Assad and Manuel Barrueco. He is a freshman at Mountain View High School, in Mountain View, California."
